Covenstead Candle Company is an independent, handcrafted business owned and operated by Dodie Graham McKay, witch, author and filmmaker.  These spell candles are created in tune with the cycles of the moon and the changing of the seasons. They incorporate natural ingredients that have been carefully selected to provide inspiration and reinforcement for your own will, intent, and magic.

Dodie began creating these candles as a creative outlet and as a way to share her love for handcrafted things, working with herbs, resins and stones and simple everyday magic. Her book, Earth Magic: The Elements of Witchcraft, was the spark that led to starting this business, as her signature spell candle, Earth Magic was inspired by the process of writing the book.
